• 12 years international development work experience in Sub-Saharan Africa and the US; management of up to $10 Million USD project portfolios on health, agriculture, education, humanitarian relief, and emergency assistance projects in Africa and US. • Comprehensive understanding of international development policies and processes, with key experience in business development, project management, operations management and business travel. Experience in proposal and budget preparation, with practical knowledge of project management, design, appraisal and evaluation. • Familiarity with several donor funding guidelines and principles including EU, DFID, USAID, World Bank and experience in administrative or operational support functions for both Corporate and non-governmental organization including new office set-up, operations and administration, procurement and logistics functions and security/safety management protocol. • Knowledge of human resources, procurement and operations policies, practices and procedures and the ability to apply them in an organizational setting. • Ability to produce training materials, webinars, multimedia presentations and conduct detailed research on policies and programs. • Exceptional computer knowledge for analyzing reports and developing target specific content. • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and cross-cultural skills with special interest in food security, disability rights, women and children’s issues. • Languages: English (Fluent), Swahili(Intermediate) and French (Beginners)
