Professional Experience:
Extensive economic and financial analysis experience in World Bank and United Nations with various fieldwork experiences. Over the past seven years, I have undertaken applied economics research, financial analysis and technical assistant projects for various sectors in the World Bank related to education, health, social protection, and water & sanction. For example, I have worked in the East Asia and Pacific’s Education unit, South Asia’s Social Protection unit and the Human Development Chief Economist’s Office, as well as Water & Sanitation in South Asia region. Thus, I had the privilege of working in various countries on projects management, with intensive missions and fieldwork in Timor-Leste, Pakistan, Brazil, and Indonesia. Capitalizing on my strength in program evaluation and survey design, I assisted in designing the Education Impact Evaluation in Timor-Leste, Philippines, and Tanzania. To support Pakistan’s decentralization project, I conducted the Education and Health Public Expenditure Review. To enhance Zanzibar student’s performance, I have worked on developing project financing packages in total of $50 million with the Government of Zanzibar and the World Bank teams by leading the economic and financial analysis work, including cost-effectiveness, cost-benefit and Net Present Value analysis using macroeconomic data.
