Professional Experience: |
With the Prospectus Group, I currently write summaries and reviews of academic journal articles distributed to hundreds of healthcare, education, and administrative officials and practitioners across over 50 public, private, and nonprofit organizations throughout the State of Georgia.
In previous project coordination and communications I managed the operations of the Iowa headquarters and statewide logistics for the Dean for America presidential campaign, and wrote and edited blog content including organizational news and updates, media and issue analysis, program reports, and supporter outreach with Democracy for America.
With the NGO and nonprofit sectors I provided programmatic and administrative support to peace-building and democracy-promotion programs at the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, and conducted organizational reviews, special projects, event support, and research as liaison to partner organizations, working groups, donors, and various stakeholders at the Democracy Alliance.
Additionally, I wrote and published the memoir Notes from Tunis analyzing my experience of cross-cultural communication, education, and understanding as a professor teaching “Western Cultural and Civilizational Concepts” at the University of Manouba in Tunis, Tunisia.

Education: |
I hold a BA in Political Science from Oberlin College and an MA (Distinction) in International Studies and Diplomacy from the University of London School of Oriental and African Studies where I graduated third in my class focusing on diplomatic studies, international relations, and international law. My thesis analyzed the application of international human rights norms to the experience of child soldiers and earned the highest mark in my graduating class.
