Professional Experience:
I have worked as a Solicitor Advocate for several of the world's most prominent law firms and have also worked for international organisations (OECD; EBRD and European Commission) on issues relating to entrepreneurship; private sector development; gender and combating bribery and corruption. I am passionate about climate change, in particular issues relating to water security, forced migration and conflict. While in London, I chaired a knowledge group on Climate Change for Advocates for International Development. In Hong Kong, I advised a think tank on issues relating to water security and urban wellbeing. Finally, I am a Visiting Fellow at King's College's Dickson Poon School of Law and a Guest Lecturer at Victoria University in Wellington.


Education:
Aside from my law degrees which I acquired in the United Kingdom (Oxford and London), I hold a Masters in Political Science from Sciences Po in Paris and a Masters in International Politics and Business from New York University's Stern School of Business and Department of Politics where I focused on resource disputes and the nexus between security and development (my thesis was on the civil war in Angola and the role played by diamonds and oil in the war). I also hold a certificate in Law, War and Human Rights from the London School of Economics. I am now pursuing an Executive Masters in Environmental Governance at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva.
