WORK EXPERIENCE
Jan 2008 - Dec 2012 Bank Deposit Security Fund Khartoum, Sudan
Throughout my career I worked in three different places : Agricultural Bank of Sudan 1977 – 1996, Supreme Council of Peace 1996-1998 and Bank Deposit Security Fund 1998-2012 as the Director of Investment and Risk Management, the last position before I left . The following is my work experience in the different institutions I worked with starting with the most recent :-
A- Bank Deposit Security Fund ( BDSF ) , 1998-2012
1 – Director of Investment and Risk Management Department 2009 - 2012
I was the Director of Investment and Risk Management Department , being responsible of directing the Department to ascertain that the institution was achieving its objectives and duties according to its nature of work which is mainly guaranteeing the deposits of depositors in all banks in Sudan . This necessitates determining in every bank its deposits ( current, investment and savings ) at the beginning of the year and collecting the set premiums . The Department is also responsible in collaboration with the central bank to take necessary supervisory measures to ensure that banks should not invest in risky activities. All investment activities of the Institution (BDSF ) come under the responsibility of this Department and must be in safe activities and easily transferred to liquid assets when necessary . Public awareness is a major duty assigned to the Department. The Department is also responsible of research activities and studies in diverse fields of work including relations with similar international institutions, attending and preparing conferences and workshops and seminars.
My duties were to achieve all these objectives and others through necessary supervision and administration.
2 - Director of HR Department 1998 - 2008
Director of HR Department , being responsible of all supervisory duties on employees : their employment records of recruitments, promotions , benefits , leaves and annual holidays , retirements and end of service ,in addition to all procedures necessary for maintaining discipline.
B- Supreme Council of Peace , 1996-1998
Administrative and Financial Director
I was delegated from Agricultural Bank of Sudan to the Supreme Council of Peace in the position of Administrative and Financial Director. My job was to supervise those in charge of administrative and financial affairs , i.e. all the performance of the chief accountant and staff and the personnel officer and staff . It was my duty to approve payments and receipt orders and signing orders and cheques in addition to all other duties concerning HR supervision. It was my duty to prepare and follow the annual budget .
D- Agricultural Bank of Sudan (ABS), 1977 – 1996

My initial experience here was in the Commercial Department of The Agricultural Bank of Sudan ( ABS ) 1977-1996 responsible of procurements
