Professional Experience:
As an Executive Director of Protect and Save The Children had developed the Organizational five year Strategic Plan, HR Policy and Operational policy for the organization. Positioned the organization as a Child Rights and Child Protection Organization. Organization has been uplifted to the regional presence by acquiring memberships in Regional organiztions like CRC Asia where it has been the steering committee member and lead organization for Child Protection for the region.

Other achievement has been recruting the new team, enhancing thier skills and new programmes were developed and funding obtained. Successfully fund raised for the organization for the past two years inclusive of Operational and programme funding.


Most recently as Programme Manager/Head of Office worked very closely with Senior Officials of Ministry of Women and Child Development, Ministry of Rural Development, Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs, Ministry of Home Affairs, Private sector and Civil Society on Anti-Human Trafficking, Prvention of Irregular migration. Liaison and Coordination with UN and International Organizations for partnerships on Migration and Health(HIV and AIDS). HR functions and administration had been key responsibility.

Project Director - Plan International (2005 - Feb 2007) Prior to that developed systems/mechanisms to execute/implement Prevention and control of Child Trafficking and HIV and Aids Project with networks of NGOs inclusive of developing M&E using LFA. Developed Programmes for combating Child Labor, successfully carried out emergency response & management through interagency coordination and networking.

Technical Advisor - "State Secretariat for Participatory Forest Management" (June 2004 till Jan 2005)As a Technical Advisor strengthened the Institution" State Secretariat for Participatory Forest Management" enhancing capacities of steering committee, developed systems for establishing Regional Resource Centres (RRCs).

Country Director - HelpAge International (HAI). From 2001 to 2003 as a Country Director for HelpAge International in Cambodia managed country operations, implemented strategic plan, successfully accomplished change management independantly, enhanced the staff capacities at national level for programme managemment. Represented organization in National and International forums, Drafted national policy through interministerial committee of Government of Cambodia.

Programme Officer - OXFAM - UK/I (Feb 1996 to March 2001)During 1996-2001 in India had promoted various NGOs and CBOs to address livelihoold opportunities for vulnerable communities. Promoted networks to protect rights of forest dependant communities to attain sustainability. Gender issues were integrated in various programmes through consortium fund raising. Supported and strengthened national alliance on mines, minerals and People for advocating on policy issues. First coastal area disaster preparedness programme was developed
