Professional Experience:

I have experience as a gender advisor in Tanzania where I defined an evidence based program with the best available evidence from data, research, and evaluation. Identified areas for improvement which will help to achieve gender equality in the workplace. Designed and supported strategic initiatives which is genuinely and sustainably equitable to both women and men. I have experience working as a research assistant where I gathered and analyzed research work online, organized and maintained information in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word documents.
Additional experience as an intern with Women Fund Tanzania which included international research focusing on women’s funds grant making and fundraising strategies and organizational development.
Education:
I have a M.A. in international studies with a specialization in governance and conflict from Simon Fraser University. I have a B.A. in sociology and political science from The University of the Fraser Valley.
