Professional Experience: |
I have strong academic credentials that provide excellent foundation for international work, advocacy and program management for and on behalf of culturally, sociology-economically and linguistically diverse groups. I have utilized this foundation at international advocacy organizations, in academia, and health care.
This includes: advocacy and communications experience at Amnesty International and the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, followed by research and editorial support at the Laboratory on International Law and Regulation. I transitioned to health care and management at the Mother's Milk Cooperative. In this position, I continued to engage with topics of socioeconomic empowerment and health. Finally, at Rosetta Genomics, I continued to engage with topics of health and healthcare, learning about patient advocacy and access to powerful diagnostic cancer tests. I am first and foremost a passionate human rights and social justice professional, with generalist expertise in human rights law, as well as specialist knowledge with regard to economic development, education, immigration, and health.
