Professional Experience: |
During my experiences within the UN system and other international agencies, I have operated within a network involving consistent high-level interaction, requiring significant political dexterity given conflicting interests were constantly in place.
In numerous academic and consultancy assignments based upon documentation extensive desk review and analysis, I was able to determine patterns of success in policy implementation and cooperation agreements leading to the refinement of targeted issues by member states and mitigation of risks.
Frequently dealing with large volumes of information and shifting interests from clients and partners, I spearheaded knowledge-management research projects based upon baseline data review and constructed innovative qualitative and quantitative methods to implement M&E analysis. One of my most recent roles as a consultant involved drawing political, social and organizational mappings, culminating in a report containing policy recommendations to better address the needs of targeted communities living in Northern Jordan.
I have extensive experience in assuring and coordinating meetings within donors, civil society and multilateral agencies.
Most recently, I served as an economic adviser for the Mission of Ireland to the United Nations in New York, representing the Mission at several negotiation processes related to humanitarian and economic resolutions as well as ensuring partnerships UN funds and programs followed strategic priorities.
