Professional Experience: |
I have experience of working in Mozambique and Zimbabwe both in health sector and business sector. Currently I am a volunteer at Goal Africa Mozambique, promoting achievement o good health and sustainable cities and communities sustainable development goals. My recent employment l was consultant assistant for health program evaluation at Inter Aide organization in Mozambique. My role was to coordinate the program, designing methodology and plan for data collection, developing data collection tools, translation of documents French, English and Portuguese, organising and charring meetings with communities, health workers and partners, facilitating focus group discussions and in depth interviews with program directors, stakeholders and partners, data collection and analyses, report writing, drawing conclusions and set up recommendations and way forward. I have worked as wellness and public relations officer at Vodacom Mozambique. My responsibilities were developing and enforcing health and safety policy for employees, risk assessment, support and ensuring wellbeing of clients and staff members and training staff of issues associated with health and safety.
In Zimbabwe, I worked as Health promotion officer at Ministry of Health and Child Welfare from 2014 to 2017 and as Program Officer at Girl Child Network Trust from 2012 to 2014. During this period l gained experience in program designing, planning, coordination, managing and monitoring and evaluation. I also gained skills in networking and building partnerships with other organizations. I learnt effective interpersonal communication, reporting, team work, developing and enforcing policies, providing strategic information, health education promotion interventions, social and behavior change communication.
A have experience of implementing and managing programs that include but not limited to HIV/AIDS, maternal and child health, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Nutrition, humanitarian assistance, economic empowerment/poverty reduction, gender equality, disaster risk management and rehabilitation, school health and Sexual and reproductive health, Child protection Gender and Human Rights.
