SENIOR LEADER. Led People for Equality and Relief in Lanka’s Tamil-centric accountability and genocide recognition efforts for Sri Lanka’s mass atrocities. Managed World Federalist Movement/Institute for Global Policy’s staff, projects, and budgets on atrocity prevention and justice and also participated in fundraising, grant reporting, and project evaluations.

TRANSITIONAL JUSTICE EXPERT. Evaluated locally owned transitional justice projects and approaches by members of the Global Initiative for Justice, Truth, and Reconciliation (GIJTR) civil society consortium. Synthesized key issues, challenges, and recommendations in implementing reparations for the GIJTR civil society consortium. Supported the International Center for Transitional Justice’s preparation of a training module on criminal justice for gender-based crimes. Drafted sections on the transitional justice situation in five conflict-affected countries in Asia, as well as in the region, for EnCompass LLC.

GENDER EXPERT. Managed first-ever project examining the gender dimension of attacks on education at the Global Coalition to Protect Education from Attack. Researched and wrote about women’s rights during conflict and mass atrocities at the Global Justice Center. Conducted confidential legal research on gender-based violence for an international criminal tribunal. Advocated to end child marriage in the US at Unchained at Last.

FIELD EXPERIENCE. Participated in fact-finding missions in India at People’s Watch, Palestine at Badil, and West Africa at Media Foundation for West Africa.
