Alumnus of University of North Carolina in 1) Global Studies: Global Economics, Development, and Trade, and 2) Anthropology. During my time at UNC I studied abroad in China for a total of 4 semesters, partially paid for by the Boren Scholarship. Upon my return I placed as a low advanced speaker. While back stateside, I interned at World Relief - a refugee resettlement organization as a Match Grant and Employment Resource Coordinator. I was fortunate to volunteer with the same organization for over a year (though at various locations), working from the health of the refugees, to the case management.
