My higher education has been done in Western countries; After completing my undergraduate studies at St. Gregory's University, Oklahoma in social sciences, I went on to obtain a Master of Social Work degree at the University of Pittsburgh, USA. My academic achievements has been impressive as I have maintained a steady GPA over the course of my studies (3.5 and above). Other achievements include being named in the President's honor roll for GPA 3.5 and above, international scholarships (at both universities) for maintaining a GPA of 3.5 and above and a National Institute on Developmental Delays scholarship for the work and commitment toward people with developmental delays. Currently, I am a PhD student at the University of Leeds, conducting research on the social experiences of parents/guardians of autistic children in contemporary Kerala, India.
