Deep experience working in transitional economies with hostile political/economic environments. 7+ years launching business start-ups, including satellite communications for development in off-grid locations and Global Strategic Communications: Development Communication; Advocacy Communication and Internal Communication. 5+ years as consultant in wide range of roles including: business development, launch support, evaluation and assessment, social entrepreneurship curriculum design and delivery; public-private partnerships; public diplomacy and institutional transformation. Cross-cutting expertise permeating all work includes: gender and development; cross-cultural communication; strategic network development, mentorship and team-building. Communications background also evident in approach towards all work through targeted training design and implementation skills developing communication for development capacity as essential building block for sustainable development to a variety of audiences and strategic partners.
