Professional Experience:
As an independent consultant since 2012, Kerrie has worked with several international clients. In 2014 she supported UNFPA to develop a new regional strategy and Moog Inc. to develop corporate social responsibility plans from a few initiatives to a global approach. In 2013 she worked with CIDSE/ACT Alliance to advance the aid effectiveness agenda on the enabling environment for civil society. Prior to becoming a consultant Kerrie worked with Amnesty International for 17 years, eventually becoming deputy regional director (Americas) overseeing programme management, strategic planning, research and advocacy on human rights, women's rights and gender, civil society, governance, security, justice and accountability. Kerrie guided AI's research teams in many new and complex areas: for instance, policing and gangs in Jamaica; migrants and insecurity in Mexico; the U.S. embargo against Cuba; HIVAIDs in the Caribbean; the prohibition on abortion in Nicaragua, post conflict Guatemala, human rights defenders in Colombia and the Haiti earthquake disaster.

Kerrie has experience across four continents: Canada, U.S.A., Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Panama, Belize, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Cuba, Guyana, Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Paraguay, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Malawi, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Hong Kong, India and Australia.

Affiliations and Achievements:
In the U.K. Kerrie has served as a non-executive director for a UK-based Community Interest Company (CIC) and currently serves as a fellowship councillor for the Royal Society of the Arts (RSA). Kerrie was invited to become a fellow of the RSA in 2011 in recognition of her contribution to human rights in the Americas.

In 2013, Kerrie chaired a public event on civil society at the Stockholm Human Rights Fair. She is frequently asked to speak on master courses at the University of Bath.

Kerrie has won two significant scholarly awards for merit: the first an MBA scholarship and the second a Graduate Scholarship.
