I am working as Roving Supply Chain Coordinator, Asia Region with IRC. My last position was with DRC South Sudan as Roving Supply Chain manager. I was deployed as Logistics Coordinator with GOAL-Nepal. My previous assignment was as Logistics Manager in emergency EBOLA response program at Sierra Leon with Save the Children. In my past role as Head of Supply Chain and Logistics for the Save the Children in Bangladesh, I have successfully implemented policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of operations in the department in order to add value to the rest of the organization. As you will note from my enclosed resume, I have 18+ years of experience with local, multinational and international organizations. I have also gained valuable experience in contract management and procurement under Public Procurement Rules of the Government of Bangladesh. In addition to the wealth of experience I have gained over the years, I am a trainer for ITC/WTO-GENEVA, a UN project, Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industries, and I facilitate Supply Chain Training. I have experience of managing Security, admin and finance.
I have experience in epidemic response program (Ebola response in Sierra Leone, Cholera outbreak, H1N1/ Swain flu, Dhieorial outbreak, Nipah virus outbreak in Bangladesh) and also worked for Cyclone AILA, SIDR, MAHASEN and other humanitarian response activities. I am well adept in policy development, SOP preparation and the implementation of good governance as well as medicine procurement, vaccine shipment and cool chain/cold chain management. I am also highly skilled in using software and ERP systems as well as preparing concise reports and presentations. Worked with USAID, GFATM, ECHO, DANIDA, DFID, UN, WB and other major donors.
