Professional Experience:
1. Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes/projects on youth development, meaningful participation for and by youth, youth participation in decision-making, youth economic development, youth entrepreneurship, youth and innovation and youth in resilience building;
2. Support the development and dissemination of normative and programmatic guidance on youth empowerment and youth mainstreaming in urban sustainable development, economy, while also integrating youth as an important demographic dividend throughout the project/programme cycles;
3. Review relevant documents and reports; identifies problems and issues to be addressed and proposes corrective actions; liaises with relevant parties; identifies and tracks follow-up actions;
4. Supporting the development and coordination of research initiatives and progress reports to generate new evidence to address gaps in knowledge on issues of youth empowerment on areas of interest;
5. Assist in policy development and analysis, including the review and analysis of issues and trends, preparation of evaluations or other research activities and studies;
6. Provide substantive support to consultative and other meetings, conferences, to include proposing agenda topics, identifying participants, preparation of documents and presentations;
7. Partake capacity building programs, exercise and outreach activities. This includes conducting training workshops, seminars and make presentations on relevant topics/activities.

Both the Master and Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and Investment has given me a multidisciplinary approach to analytical issues and especially a measure of impact to funding, growing and overseeing investments and portfolios in different fora.
Affiliations and Achievements:
2017: Designed and currently implementing the Colombia Urban Peace Lab Programme, a peace and resilience program, in Colombia. The programme seeks to integrate youth-led interventions on innovation and entrepreneurship models towards peace and resilience in Cities in Colombia. The youth-led models will contribute to efforts towards disarmament, demobilisation and reintegration processes as well as Urban Peace Strategy.
2016: Established partnerships in Colombia , Uganda, and Nepal with international NGO’s, private sector, Multi Lateral Investment Funds and local authorities, that aim to build on youth-led innovative solutions to urban challenges
2015: Engaged in the Economic Security Innovation Hub, in Kampala, Uganda as a policy advisor through the Stanford Social Innovation model on gender and youth
2015: Led and engaged in policy discussions on youth during the 7th Africities Summit in reference to Agenda 2063

2014: Developed a UN- Habitat Youth Marker which maps and directs youth inclusion and participation in project documents for the Project Advisory Group (PAG) and referenced in every kind of document i.e. publications, papers, statements, funding proposals, strategies.
