After graduating in Psychology at Southampton University, Alex spent 4 years in commercial retail management. He started consulting in 1998 on leadership, talent, organisational design and development across a wide range of sectors including media, FMCG, utilities and financial services.
He gained further first-hand experience of designing and executing organisational development and change programmes working in-house for blue chip organisations: as Head of Learning and Organisational Development at AstraZeneca UK, and Head of Organisational Design and Change for the BBC.
With a passion for Human Rights, he also has experience working in rural India to develop organisational capability in NGOs focusing on food security, women's rights, child welfare and community governance. In addition, he has completed an MBA In Emerging Markets with specialisms in social entrepreneurship and development at the Base of the Pyramid.
Alex is based in South East Asia.
He provided talent management, leadership assessment and development, organisational design and change management consultancy as part of the Kaisen:Deloitte partnership.
Most recently he has taken the role of technical Advisor with a local Cambodian NGO focusing on crafting the 3 year strategy, supporting the leadership tea, execute on it, and management change internally, whilst still providing technical guidance and support to staff in the areas of M&E, PM, Leadership, Change and Organisational Development
