Affiliations and Achievements: |
• In collaboration with Jigawa Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development facilitated the establishment of Safe Motherhood Demand Creation Community Support Systems Initiative (health, economic, nutrition, psycho-social supports) in over 400 Jigawa communities across 27 LGAs of Jigawa with over 16,000 women facing maternal complications transported to receive EOC at designated health facilities.
• In collaboration with EU-WSSRP facilitated establishment of over 44 school health clubs in 44 Primary and Junior Secondary Schools in Jigawa and some selected pupils contested National Convention on hygiene Promotion and Jigawa State won First Position
• In collaboration with Jigawa Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, SPARC, SAVI, PRRINN-MNCH facilitated Development of Jigawa State Gender Policy
• In collaboration with WHO, UNICEF facilitated the Immunization of 219 Children in a Constant Total Rejection Community of Masare in Garki LGA of Jigawa State and published on the ABT International Bulletin and website
• In collaboration with Jigawa Ministry of Health facilitated the Establishment of Jigawa College of Nursing and Midwifery, E-Library Resource Centre and Practical Tool
• In collaboration with Jigawa Ministry of Health and Gunduma Health Systems Board facilitated the Institutionalization of Health Promotion Policy with Local Structures, Coordinators and Officers in 27 LGAs and 9 District (Gunduma) Health Councils as Health Educators and Health Promotion coordinators
