1.Shelter Cluster Coordinator, Peshawar, Pakistan/Shelter Expert, Islamabad,
Pakistan – United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees - Dec. 2010 - July 2014
2. Managed the implementation of UNHCR transitional shelter and One
Room Shelter (ORS) programmes throughout Pakistan; advised on the optimal use of resources
3. Coordinated the selection of implementing partners, followed up on implementation and progress
4. Provided technical advice in design and BOQ to implementing partners (IPs)
5. Organized coaching sessions for UNHCR staff and IPs on shelter design, planning, implementation and monitoring with a view of knowledge and skills transfer
6. Participated in the inter-agency cluster and Housing Early Recovery Workgroup
(HERWG) discussions at national level on technical matters pertaining to shelter
7. Prepared strategy report, weekly and periodic progress reports formats for the transitional and one room shelter programmes and packaged them in a way that they are readily available for external dissemination to donors

1. Maintained a management system and procedure to facilitate reconstruction, water and sanitation projects by implementing strict compliance to materials quality control and constant monitoring
2. Managed the development, maintenance and monitoring of an action plan for the reconstruction of 65 child friendly schools and 27 health facilities, including water and sanitation facilities in earthquake provinces of Nias and Nias Selatan
3. Prepared a periodic Project Implementation Plan (PIP) for approval by UNICEF
4. Approved tender documentation (ITB, CTE), participated in tender evaluation; implemented the approved procurement procedures
5. Served as the security focal point (ASMT).

1. Participated in planning, designing and tendering of construction of Refugee processing Centre, Staff Accommodation Centre and Refugee Registration Centres
