Professional Experience: |
Managing Director of South Great Plain Regional Development Agency.
Heading the South Great Plain Regional Development Agency, which is responsible for the planning, implementation, coordination and monitoring of the South Great Plain Regional Operational Programme and various other projects in excess of 1,15 billion € EU fund.
SGP ROP (2007-2013) is funded by EU and Hungary – with 800 million €. This program is to subsidize the development of five areas:
-Priority axis 1: Regional economic development ( incl. Enhancing the region's economical state by developing SMEs, corporate networks and clusters and Innovative developments )
-Priority axis 2: Tourism-related developments ( incl. Development of competitive touristic products – e.g. Spas, Hotels, Conference Centers and various other tourist attractions )
-Priority axis 3: Development of transport infrastructure ( incl. Improvement of accessibility of rural areas –e.g. Road building - and modernization of community transport )
-Priority axis 4: Human Infrastructure Development ( incl. Modernization and development of healthcare – e.g. Hospitals and GP offices- and its services and Educational infrastructure developments – e.g. School buildings )
-Priority axis 5: Regional development actions ( incl. Urban development actions – e.g. Town Halls and community buildings and Settlement development with environmental focus – e.g. natural water management infrastructure and local initiatives )
As the managing director, I was responsible for:
- The development and implementation of new business processes which ensure programme execution for SGP Operational Programme and other various programmes,
- Workforce expansion (from 76 to 134) to ensure daily operation
- All managerial activities which requires top management monitoring or/and decision making
- Lead management activities for individual projects ( incl. Small scale international projects 100K-250K € and a large Drinking Water Quality Improvement Program for 350 million €)
Organizational and Strategy Development Consultant for 4 Public Utility Development Project Management companies
Organizational and project management development – from project plan definition to complete status reporting development with MIS - and ISO certification preparation for The four Project Management companies handle more than 70 projects in excess of 100 million €.
Projects: EU funded Public Utility Development
Project Manager and Project Consultant in many various Management Consultancy projects in Hungary, Sweden and Nigeria.
