Professional Experience: |
My background includes working for a multinational clinical research organisation as a grants specialist as well as volunteering once a week for a charity organisation as a treasury assistant. Most recently, in order to gain experience in Kenya, I have consulted for a lecturer at JKUAT on his PhD.
Previously, I worked as a customer-service executive in an insurance company whereby my responsibilities involved communicating with next-of-kin’s of policy holders that had passed away in order to assist with the policies that had been taken out. I also have considerable customer service experience from working in the service industries in various roles while studying. In these positions, I demonstrated the ability to resolve a variety of issues and complaints and learned how to deal with sensitive situations such as bereavement.
I also bring to the table strong computer proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and the ability to learn how to use any database with ease
