Professional Experience:

National Democratic Institute for 15 years as resident director in six countries -- Kyrgyzstan, Nepal, Tajikistan, Turkey, Madagascar-- and director of Political Party Programs in Georgia. Chief of Party for Democracy International in South Sudan. Head of Human Dimension (Human Rights) Department in OSCE Office in Tajikistan. Worked as a USAID Elections and Democracy Specialist in Afghanistan, Georgia, and most recently as a Democracy Officer for USAID in Washington, D.C. focusing on Central and South Asia. Prior to international democracy work, Chief of Staff and environmental expert for three congressmen, and Executive Director of environmental NGO, the Alaska Wilderness League in Washington, D.C.
