1) Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR), Research Unit, Chennai, India (2008-Present)

(Heading Livelihoods Initiative)
**(2008-2011) Headed a program called Microfinance Researchers Alliance Programme (MRAP) that focused on building research capacity amongst Indian professors interested in micro finance and financial inclusion.
**(2012-2015) Integral role in raising funds ($0.5 million) and commencing a Livelihoods Initiative Unit within IFMR. Under this Unit, a series of policy studies are conducted focusing on innovations and scale-up of livelihoods and financial inclusion programs.
**Assumed a leadership role in dissemination and policy outreach activities.

Project Manager Managed a large-scale study - Multi Ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis and Air Pollution (MESA Air).
**Started as a Research Associate and was promoted to Project Manager after a year. My team was successful in meeting the monitoring goals of the project.

1) As the Head and Co-founder of the Livelihoods Initiative Unit at IFMR, I played an integral role in the design and implementation of a series of “human-centered” “practitioners- oriented” policy studies, focusing on the financial capabilities and livelihoods of the poor.

2) Partnered with the government and non-government implementing agencies to analyze the women-based livelihoods promotion programs in India. Played a key role in developing policy recommendations and cases for practitioners and policymakers.

3) Played a key role in developing Financial Education (FE) products for low-income clients, mainly women. These tools are designed to encourage the usage of the financial products and services. This FE programs can be applied for phones and tablets.

4) Volunteering as a fundraiser for an NGO called “Magasool” that promotes agricultural innovations in rural India

5) Volunteered for Make-A-Wish, New York Chapter (2004-2008). Outstanding Rookie Award in the year 2004
