Examples of Fundraising: Private Placement Funding – $3,000,000 co-fundraiser as a member of the executive management team of Opsion Medical. Funds were raised from angel investors and initial phase capital venture investors (2000-2002).
United Nations Development Program – $50,000 stipends and airfare for visiting faculty from the United States to Bielsko Academy. A total of six faculty members came from the US to teach courses in Marketing, Finance, and Operations Management (1992-1994).
United Nations Development Program – $31,500 stipends and airfare for Polish faculty to visit US universities for training in curriculum development in ESL, Marketing, Management, and Finance. A total of three faculty members traveled to the US visiting Georgetown University, Oregon State University, and University of Michigan (1993).
Caring Connections – $16,000 Initial fundraising effort to start up organization and gauge community interest. $7,800 was made available to create handicap accessible entrance and bathroom for first client. Remaining funds will be used for future clients (2012).
European Union Educational Sector Grant for Eastern European Universities – $12,000 for computer hardware and software grant (1992).
HP Educational Equipment Grant – $10,000 in computer and peripheral equipment for the Montessori School of Syracuse – multiple awards (2004-2009).
