Professional Experience:
Craig Meisner is consultant now in Bangladesh and South Asia. Dr. Meisner received a B.A. from the North Carolina State University and a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia. Over the past 33 years, he has served agricultural science worldwide in Mexico and across South and Southeast Asia as a great force for ending poverty and hunger through agricultural research and the education and empowerment of farmers. As part of his efforts, Craig has worked with numerous local agricultural research institutes as well as international organizations including WorldFish, CIMMYT, IRRI, and Cornell University. His many projects have included environmentally sustainable aquatic agricultural systems; research and extension work on wheat, maize, and rice; addressing arsenic in the environment; and conservation tillage. Dr. Meisner has also published numerous journal articles (38), books (7) and book chapters (6), and proceedings articles (36).

Masters of Agriculture North Carolina State University Topic: Increasing nitrogen fixation of the peanut
Major: Interdisciplinary degree in pathology, physiology, and crop production. Degree received: 1979 GPA: 3.3
B.S. North Carolina State University
Major: Agronomy emphasizing both tropical and temperate crops. Degree received: 1976 GPA: 3.5 (3.9 in major)
