Professional Experience:
Over the past 10 years, I have been dedicated to understanding the underlying motivations and needs that drive social and organizational change and have utilized them to create positive impact. My breath of work experience, from a community and court mediator to a strategic and operational advisor for NATO and USAID, demonstrates my ability to work effectively in diverse and challenging environments. I excel at bridging research, policy and practice to form practical solutions; examples include designing and implementing a mediation training program for an NGO, integrating conflict sensitive practices and procedures for USAID in South Sudan and researching and advising on organizational change of the Afghan National Security Forces for NATO/ISAF in Afghanistan. I have experience in managing, monitoring and evaluating projects as a department director of an NGO and externally as a third party for USAID. Overall, I enjoy and value exploring issues and building personal relationships with people and organizations to determine realistic and effective ways to achieve their goals.
