I have had the opportunity to intern with a regional food shelf, Channel One, Inc, as there resource and referral intern. While there I worked with staff to research and element a new resource and referral program for the food shelf's clients. My work experience has also taken me to the world of finance. I worked at Wealth Enhancement Group where I was able to fine tune my data entry, communication, and customer service skills. Following my time with WEG I spent three months volunteering in Costa Rica at both a community center and school creating lesson plans and enriching after school activities for youth. Most recently I spent the last two years working with at risk youth teaching technology to grades K-5. While teaching I was able to improve my planning, management, and creativity skills. I not only taught both general education and bilingual classes but was also in charge of all online programs and ensured all staff was properly trained on all programs and technology we had available to them.
