Professional Experience:

I am a senior finance, operations, and grants management professional with over 25 years of progressive experience supporting large-scaleresearch and development programmes across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. My career spans international NGOs, research organizations, and donor-funded consortia, where I have consistently strengthened financial governance, grants management, donor compliance, and multi-country operations in complex and high-risk environments.

In my current role as Project Coordinator for a GBP 44.5 million FCDO-funded, multi-country programme, I provide strategic oversight across budgeting, financial management, grants and contracts, donor compliance, reporting, partner coordination, and risk management. I work closely with senior leadership, technical teams, MEAL, and corporate services to ensure alignment across the full project cycle—from proposal development and contracting to implementation, reporting, and close-out—while supporting effective delivery across multiple countries and partners.

Previously, I served as Finance and Grants Manager for a USD 24 million USAID-funded Feed the Future programme, where I led end-to-end grants and sub-award management, overseeing more than 90 subgrants and subcontracts with NGOs, research institutions, and private-sector partners. I developed and institutionalized a Grants Management Manual, standardized donor-compliant systems and tools, and acted as the primary liaison with USAID and headquarters on financial reporting, compliance, and audits.

I have also held senior country and regional operations roles, including Country Operations Manager with Management Sciences for Health, where I oversaw finance, procurement, HR, logistics, and compliance for multiple donor-funded health projects, as well as advisory roles with international research institutions supporting donor-funded financial operations and audits.

Across my career, I have demonstrated strong leadership in proposal development, donor compliance, partner capacity building, audit readiness, and cross-departmental coordination, working with donors such as FCDO, USAID, CGIAR and other bilateral and multilateral funders. I bring a collaborative, systems-oriented leadership style, with a strong commitment to accountability, quality, and supporting programmes that deliver measurable impact for vulnerable communities.
