Education:
Completed secondary school education with Leaving Certificate examination in Dublin, Ireland in June 2006(received 590/600 points in Leaving Certificate).

Completed BA in TSM French and German at Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland in May 2011. Received a first class 2.1 (68%). Studies mainly focused on translation, textual analysis, sociolinguistics, literature, cultural studies and cultural history. My dissertation focused on identity, migration and bilingualism and biculturalism(''Migration, Identity and the Bilingual Bicultural: A Case Study of Franco-Irish migrants in Ireland'').

Currently completing an MA in Applied Anthropology and Community Development at Goldsmiths College, University of London, London UK. From the CD perspective, I have studied youth work, local and national public policy of the UK, community work and the law, community action and organising (with a focus on working with women), the case of migrants and asylum seekers in the UK and EU, government publications on community work, the role of the arts in community work and international perspectives on community work and community development.

From the anthropological side, I have studied local development work from anthropological perspectives, key contemporary issues such as the category of youth, gender, kinship, 'race', 'dis'ability, migration and transnational processes, health, space and the environment, class, analysis of power relations and power dynamics in communities, and brokerage and mediation in community development work.

I have also studied anthropological theory (important anthropologists and key theories in the development of the discipline) and anthropological research methods. For the latter I carried out fieldwork research during my work placements at Praxis Community Projects. This research focused on the role of commensality in community building and in division of communities.

As part of my Masters, I have had to complete two work placements which I have carried out at Praxis. These are discussed in my professional experience section.
