Building a career line for over sixteen years , I steadily grew from the position of programming assistant; administration; to capacity building technical advisor to program coordinator; applying Partnership Assessment and Development Framework (PADEF) to assessing and building the capacities of civil society, ministries and agencies and providing technical assistance for program implementation. My work has also given me the opportunity to working with and supporting organisational initiatives in designing and implementing health and social integrated programmes through training, individual consultations; coaching and mentoring
My last job with ActionAid was as a project director and was a member of the Country Management Team (CMT) of ActionAid Nigeria (AAN), reporting to the Programme Manager, Health. I was the technical lead of SMILE project for ActionAid Nigeria (AAN) and was responsible for ensuring implementation of the project in the states in line with outlined objectives.
I Provided technical oversight and leadership in delivering all organizational development activities and Directed supervision of State Advisors embedded with the State Ministry of Women Affairs & Social Development (SMWASD) and support to Senior Program Managers strengthening CSOs with regular visits to the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs & Social Development (FMWASD) to ensure alignment with efforts at state level while Providing targeted technical assistance in carrying out organisation capacity assessment of the SMWASD in the project states
Further more I Provided technical direction in mentoring, coaching and hands on support in establishing effective systems for planning, monitoring and coordination of the Orphans and Vulnerable Children’s response after which I submited monthly and quarterly reports on the activities of SMILE to AAN
To ensure good quality project implementation, I ensured that data is collected routinely and same uploaded in the SMILE Monitoring & Evaluation data base as well as the ActionAid Data Management System
I Represented AAN to ensure the maintenance of optimum relations at all levels with relevant agencies and Civil Society Organizations in the country, actively taking part in the overall policy, programme, procedure and strategy development of AAN in general.

Achievements
I have provided technical support in the following areas: capacity building on Impact assessment of projects/programmes, document development and review, market-driven economic development, private sector and partner engagement, strategic knowledge/Information management, village savings and loan associations (VSLA) formation and operations, micro insurance, entrepreneurship development and creation of value chain linkages, case management and referrals, capacity assessment of organizations, networks. I also facilitate linkages and networking among organizations and communities.
In the last 5 years, i managed a USAID Project as organizational development director under ActionAid Nigeria, I was privileged to facilitate the development and or review of over 20 Strategic documents, amongst with are ; Organizational Capacity Assessment for 49 CSO, 5 States and 49 LGAs; Priority Agenda 2016-2020 Response Plan to End Violence Against Children 2016-2018 for 5 states; OVC state plan of Action, Child Protection Policy for 5 states , OVC Multisectoral Service Directory for 5 states etc
1 Developed a 3 year training curriculum, trained and empowered 75 young girls in auto mechanic and found employments for them in Big auto mechanical companies, like Toyota, Mitsubishi, Briscoe, Coscharis, Elizade, Kia, CFAO motors etc, who are fully and gainfully employed and or have become employer of labour.•
