Professional Experience:

I have had work experience in several sectors, but my main experiences have been in teaching children from the age of 6 to adults. I have taught in state, private and international schools. I have worked in tbe International Baccalaureate (IB) for the past 7 years as a regional manager for the Diploma Programme (post 16 diploma). This has entailed, management of people, systems and budgets, training, recognition agreements, collaborating with MOE officials as well as universities, organizing workshops and conferences, negotiating venues, extensive travel across the region and practising diplomacy and cultural sensitivity as the region is very diverse.
I have been a guest speaker representing the organization at conferences and workshops as well being invited to address education delegates. My main interest have been communication and helping to develop frameworks and educational innovations with countries seeking to change their systems whilst seeking means to integrate their local experiences in developing relevant curriculum. I have supported over 700 schools in programme accreditation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, helping them also to develop sustainable and affordable programmes in relation to their specific environments and resources.

Education:

My main focus has been in education, but I also have BA degrees in Social Sciences, Humanities, MA degree in Education and am in the process of studying for an MBA to supplement my recent experience as a regional manager for an NGO in international education. I have also completed a certificate in teaching English as a second language (ESL) and business writing. I also have intense experience as a teacher trainer working with teachers from Africa, Europe and the Middle East

Affiliations and Achievements:

I have been invited to address graduants from my Masters Programme with the College of New Jersey where I was awarded the Distinguished Alumini Award, have accreduetd the school belonging to Queen Raina of Jordan, am member of international educational bodies and am also in the process of developing my writing skills through a writing school in Manchester.
