•International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (Toronto, Canada, 1995): Researched, translated and edited publication on best environmental practices by local governments globally. Authored an article about the Japanese government’s policy towards climate protection for the Municipal Leader’s summit on Climate Protection.
•Developed proposal from Japanese youth for the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED), and represented Japan for the Youth Earth Summit held in Costa Rica prior to the UNCED.
