Professional Experience:
Having 20 Years of multi functional exposure, working in key roles in the Program Management domain, gradually evolving into a Value chain, Community Enterprise, and E-governance resource person. Worked with Organisations like GIZ, CARE, INBAR, American India Foundation, Azim Premji Foundation, and Government of Uttarakhand.


Currently working as Value Chain and Enterprise development Expert consultant with UNDP in Maharashtra, With responsibility to initiate Agro and non farm based enterprises with the farmers. Also working as Chief Executive Officer, for a women livelihood company, working with the manual scavengers, rape Survivors, and Dalit Minority Women, in Madhya Pradesh. The Company rehabilitates the women out of the slavery and exploitation, through providing them alternative and sustainable livelihoods through this company called "Dignity and Design". A number of small and medium scale enterprises are being managed under the aegis of this company and i have the responsibility of managing all aspects of the enterprise, as the CEO.

Livelihood and Development Initiatives with the mountain communities of Uttarakhand. The Livelihood program was designed and operationalised by me with a partner organisation, themed around mountain farm practices and promotion of organic and indigenous wisdom and knowledge, to achieve sustainable livelihoods for the disaster struck communities of the mountains.

Prior to this Lead the team in GIZ for provision of venture capital and project management support to a number of small and medium enterprises (Program name UPNRM), which want to develop a revenue generating, but development oriented activities. For e.g. Value addition of local products, and developing them into a value chain, with packaging, branding, so that a continuous enterprise can propagate in close association with NABARD, to provide venture capital fund to rural enterprises and initiatives across the country. Developed business projects and streamlined revenue streams for more than 300 enterprises worth a loan portfolio of 100 crores.

Proir to this , spent 3 years working in the E-governance domain, undertaking large scale projects on citizen data digitisation for unique identity and for banking,which included house-to-house survey of 22 lakh families in the state of Uttarakhand and 40 lakhs in Rajasthan.

Always having a interest in the livelihood domain got the opportunity to work closely with the livelihood initiatives of the government of Uttarakhand, to design the livelihood development strategy based on the Bamboo and Natural Fibers of the mountain state. Was successful in establishing a producers company for the state government with a support enterprises across the state, and professionally run support system through designers, technology experts and foresters.

Prior to this worked with CARE international in India, in Rajasthan on their national program Integrated
Education:
Passed out from Institute of Rural Management Anand, (IRMA) in 1999 with a Post graduation in Rural Management. Having studied subjects like marketing, finance and project management, the ability to use management theories to real time situations. A science graduate prior to that with an in-depth knowledge of various computer applications.
Affiliations and Achievements:
Was selected as one of the finalists at the Development Marketplace, of the world bank. Got the opportunity to visit Washington D.C. by invitation from the World Bank.
