I graduated as a Physician. After graduation, I joined the Residency Program in Internal Medicine, and subsequently elected as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine, developing and teaching professional tasks in a Public Hospital. During that period, my main field of interest was engaged in the study of the processes of health and disease linked to the adult population, and the conditions affecting them, as well as a deep interest in clinical epidemiology and infectious diseases processes in particular.
After my training in the health care area, I chose to deepen my knowledge in Public Health and Epidemiology and mainly in Applied Statistics, and Field Epidemiology as a Resident Program taught by the Ministry of Health in 2012.
I am currently a professional in the Health Surveillance Area since January 2013, as part of the Epidemiology Department, where I strengthened my professional experience in surveillance and control of infectious diseases.
