My CV will trace a history of extensive experience and achievement in all facets of communications. I have 20+ years of work experience across Advertising, Public Relations and Corporate Communications; having worked for the India, South Asia, and Middle East markets. For the last
three companies that I worked in, and now, including Sony Pictures Networks India, I have set up
and established from scratch the Corporate Communications function – encompassing marketing
and brand communication, investor, and media relations as well as communications around employee engagement Currently, I manage the PR & Corporate Communications for Sony Pictures Networks with a team that has consistently ranked among India’s Top 30 Corporate Communication teams for five years in a row (2017 -2021).
I am particularly adept at strategic reputation/Image management of businesses, and in the process have got a stronghold on dealing with crisis situations. Having experienced mergers, joint-ventures, and acquisitions of corporations over the last few years, I have developed a keen sense of organizational alignments on core corporate culture as well as engaging with various stakeholders (customers, employees, vendors, financiers, and media) via the in- person, print, broadcast, and digital formats.
I have worked across many industries including automobiles, energy, paints/coatings, and media & entertainment. I have a B.Sc. (Honors) degree in Biochemistry, with a specialization in immunology
and molecular biology, topped up with a post-graduate master’s degree in communication studies with
a specialization in media management and film studies.
