Dr James Daniel Paul is a Director Data Services with World Vision International at Manila Office, Philippines Earlier he was Senior Expert -Investment and Technology Promotion, United Nations Industrial Development Organization. He has also been associated with Skymark Packaging International at United Kingdom, National Institute of Public Finance and Policy under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, Confederation of Indian Industries, Murugappa Group, World Bank, British Deputy High Commission, PricewaterhouseCoopers, European Union, United Nations Industrial Development organization and Asian Development Bank. His learning process includes two management development programmes in IIM (Lucknow and Calcutta)
In all these organizations he was involved in planning conceptualizing and organizing capacity building programmes for private sector in different locations and countries. (Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Sikkim Meghalaya ) and abroad (United States, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Austria, Singapore, Malaysia and Sri Lanka)
Some of the key achievements include:
Conceptualization and organization of capacity building / training programmes for over 100 industry institutions and associations across India and Europe.
Organising the first ever VAT awareness programme in India in partnership with the corporate in 1999.
Co-ordination of the technology audits, vision building programmes and many other private sector development programmes
Has been involved in the creation of the management development center at Murugappa Group.
Have been involved in writing position papers, background papers, speeches and presentations for Industry leaders in different fields for the last 17 years.
The programmes organized include the programme for Sales tax commissioners, Health care providers, educationalists, Tax and finance professionals and for shoe makers, leather tanners, auto component companies and power sector institutions.
In all the organizations atleast a few capacity building initiative has been enabled for the private sector.
