Dali’s experience in the agricultural industry spans over 18 years. As the Director of Program Management and Communications of U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) for SE Asia and based in Singapore, she is responsible for the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of market development activities funded by USDA’s Foreign Agriculture Service (FAS) and the United Soybean Board’s International Marketing division for the Southeast Asia region. Within this program management role, Dali develops and implements creative trade and technical training programs for the livestock and food industries as well as government agencies in SE Asia. She also leads trade/buyer delegations to the U.S. In this capacity, she understands the complexities of managing government funding sources while managing programs to ensure that all activities and projects planned are carried out by project managers comply and support the international market development plan. She ensures that resources and budgets are available and used effectively.
Dali is the communications team lead for SE Asia and manages all internal and external communications in USSEC. This requires her to incorporate new communications technology and prepare all aspects of the regional marketing communications for the organization. She is responsible for the development, editorial and production of print and media-based publications including news releases and web-based event management systems for USSEC for global distribution.
Dali obtained her MBA from the University of South Australia (Adelaide) in 2009. She received her bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Public Relations from Western Kentucky University, USA in 1996 after completing her Diploma in Mass Communications at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore in 1993. With her extensive network and event management skills, Dali brings together field experts from various agricultural, food and trade related disciplines to dialogue and forge partnerships through one-on-one consultations and platforms such as seminars, conferences and workshops.
