I am highly proficient in a broad spectrum of institutional, project and program accounting and finance practices. Holding those key finance qualifications, my expertise extends beyond traditional financial accounting to include roles such as Accountant, Finance & Administration Manager, Project Control and Disbursement Officer, Lecturer in accounting and Finance courses, Director Audit & Tax Advisory, Financial Management Specialist and Regional Financial Management Officer in four (4) international organizations such as: World Organization of the Scout Movement (Nairobi-Kenya; African Capacity Building Foundation-ACBF (Harare-Zimbabwe); African Rural and Agricultural Credit Association-AFRACA (Nairobi-Kenya); DEON & NOED (Lomé-Togo and Accra Ghana); International Fund for Agricultural Development -IFAD (Kinshasa-DRC, Abidjan-Cote d'Ivoire and Nairobi-Kenya) . In International Fund for Agricultural Development FAD:
Made improvements on the Quarterly Interim Financial Report (IFR) newly launched Template by having inserted control measures to ensure that project accounting and financial data being reported are accurate, and reliable.
Restored all problem projects in Comoros, Burundi, South Sudan and Zimbabwe back into effective financial management arrangements and implementation standards.
In African Rural and Agricultural Credit Association AFRACA
Designed multi-donors chart of accounts including procurement of new Sage Evolution 100 for accurate, effective financial data recording and reporting.
Updated the accounting and administrative policies manuals to suit the current accounting systems.
