Affiliations and Achievements:
I was the group leader for Access to Government Procurement Opportunities project activities funded by DFID in UN Women, This a major women Economic Empowerment flagship project in Kenya Government. I had to keep an eye out for what everyone (partners, facilitators and general participants) was doing and make sure we were on track for our goal, and keep a checklist of all the details that needed to be taken care of in order to get there. We completed the activity implementation in 20 counties on time (April 2017) with excellent results.

In FAO Somalia considering the humanitarian need in Somalia i supported Cash for work Project which require strategy, creativity, the ability to see different challenges and dynamics of political instability and desire to feed the hungry and also contributing toward the larger goal of the organization. with a team of five staff we were able to deliver over 30,000,000 US dollars each three years consecutive.

During my cash for work project i collaborated with co-workers to get sufficient input (laptops, camera and scanners) to be used by partners to improve our reporting and monitoring their activities. I analyzed productivity reports or evaluated pros and cons before making tough decisions. the end result is that the Unit was able to make monthly report on time reduced unnecessary costly field visits met the delivery target and saved a lot of money for implementation.

In order to up scale the number of PEPs clinical study participants (volunteers) referral from health centres around Nairobi county based on my good logical and analytical skills will make high-quality decision i consulted a good number of health centres to identify how we can meet study target. At the end of this process the management was able to allocate funds for capacity building nurses and doctors to improve referral this seem unpopular management decision to my team but the study was able to surpass the target.
