I just finished a four year assignment in Sierra Leone as Outreach and Media Advisor for the United Nations Integrated Peace building Office in Sierra Leone(UNIPSIL)
I previously served from 2005-2009 as Communication and External Relations Specialist for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Sierra Leone.
I also served as Communication Specialist for UNDP in Cameroon from 2000-2005.
I have been a Part Time Lecturer for several Universities in Cameroon, Sierra Leone, training students in Public Relations and Journalism and the production of Radio and TV Programmes for Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) and other local Media Houses . I was the Coordinator of the United Nations Communication Group (UNCG) in Sierra Leone for over seven years developing One UN Communication strategy.I coordinated several events in the UN such as the visits of some high profiled personalities as the Secretary General,Deputy and special Envoys to sierra Leone.
Built an robust media landscape for Sierra Leone working with other donor agencies.
Regularly show cased the UN Programmes and Projects benefiting the people of Sierra Leone through special media programmes TV, Radio Newspaper articles, TV Documentaries. Social Media etc. was able to mobilized resources from donors to provide organise special training Programme for media professionals in the are of elections coverage,monitoring and evaluation of government activities.
through support from different UN Agencies sierra Leone several training packages were organized for Government,Civil Society Organisations on governance and Human rights and Rule of Law in Sierra Leone and I also coordinated the drafting and implementation of the Government Of Sierra Leone Communication strategy with the aim of Show Casing their successes world wide after the brutal Ten Years Civil war.
I created several social groups like the Artists for Peace to create sounds and stage concerts nation wide during political events like elections principally, appealing for peace and non violence during the campaigns.
In Cameroon where I served as Communication Specialist for the United Nations Development Programme(UNDP), I was instrumental in organizing many UNDP Public functions and also served as spokesman of the organisation as well as outreach and Media specialist.In all my UN Positions I took the lead in developing the following communication channels,TV and Radio Programmes,In House Journals and websites to reach out to our beneficiaries,Donors and the Governments.
Prior to joining the United Nations I was a Broadcast Journalist on Radio and Television in Cameroon and also Freelanced Marketing and Advertising Consultant.
Now I serve as CEO of IBCAST a "One Stop Shop" Public Relations Training and Advertising Service Provider in Sierra Leone.In this position I have provided several training programmes for Government and Private sector institutions in Sierra Leone in the areas of Strategic Public Rel

I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Advanced school of Mass Communication Cameroon University of Yaounde in mass Communication with Specialisation in Audio visual Media and also a post Graduate Diploma in International Relations and the equivalent of a Masters (D.E.S.S.) in International Relations with specialization in International Communication from the International Relations Institute of Cameroon (IRIC)
I have attended several training programmes in communication issues while in the UN in many countries world wide.
i am presently pursuing an Executive Masters in Business Administration with the Jack welch Institute of Management under Strayer University Washington D.C and another Masters in Events Management with International Institute of Events Management California USA
