In my career, I have gained over 14 years experience in the fields of Ocean Ecology and Management and Marine Biology. After graduation, I did a 6 months residency in South Africa working as a senior researcher for the South African government at the Natal Sharks Board in collaboration with the University of the North in Pretoria and the University of Hawaii. On my return to the Hawaiian Islands, I worked as a biologist observer for a PIRO contracting company.
