Professional Experience:
Have more than 10 years of working experience in development and humanitarian response projects focusing on reduction of public health risks in sustainable manner involving significant stakeholders including affected population, local NGOs, government ministries, departments and private sector. I achieved these working opportunities with international reputed organizations include Canadian Red Cross, IFRC, UNICEF, International Medical Corps, Oxfam GB, The World Bank, UNDP, CIDA and GTZ. I am familiar with reporting processes of USAID, CIDA, DIFD, ECHO etc.
A continue thrive to updated knowledge and skills through a continuous learning process of upgrading my education and attending different short training events as part of my professional efficiency. Achieved hands on expertise in assessing, designing and implementing capacity building activities in the area of behavioural change communication, health/hygiene promotion, Family planning, nutrition, microcredit, gender & development issues to facilitate cross-sector coordination mechanisms at national level to the provincial and lower tiers operations.
I worked as part of the team in assessing, reviewing and evaluating different development projects. I gained extensive working experience in conflict zones while working in Somalia, Iraq, Syria, Sudan-Darfur Sri Lanka and conflict zone of Philippine.

Since March 2020, I am engaged with Canadian Red Cross as Public Health Specialist in COVID 19 pandemic response to support Long Term Care, First Nations vaccinations and different testing programs. This opportunity enhanced knowledge and skills to be effective and efficient in pandemic response.

I am a nurse graduated from Aga Khan University Karachi Pakistan in 1987 and upgraded the same qualification from Mc Master university Hamilton, Canada under the Bridging program of Internationally Educated Nurses (BIEN) in 2011.
Completed two-year diploma in Public Health from Public Health School Peshawar Pakistan complemented with a certification course on Introduction to the social services Ontario Ryerson University Toronto, Canada in 2009. In 2020, I received a diploma in Aboriginal Community Advocacy Program from Confederation College Thunder Bay Canada. Apart from technical education, I received my degree in Master in Business Administration (Management) from Preston University Islamabad Pakistan in 1996.
