Professional Experience:
• Managed country programs in Africa and Latin America while working as Country Portfolio Manager for World Vision New Zealand and Australia.

• Supported World Vision National Offices to develop national strategies, business plans and M&E Systems.

• I guided and built capacity of many World Vision National Offices to design M&E systems

• I maintained strategic partnership
relationships with key stakeholders including government departments, international organizations and local governments and engaged in constructive dialogue for collective actions on development issues facing national offices.

• I provided strategic and operational support to World Vision National Offices in Africa and Latin America to manage project valued at over US$30 million benefiting over 3 million people.

• I supported the national offices to monitor and document lessons learnt to improve program effectiveness. Projects were monitored and evaluated against outcome indicators to assess the performance of the National Offices. Feedbacks and lessons learned were used to redesign their programs.

• Worked with World Vision Ghana on the West Africa Water Initiative (WAWI) and African Union and built capacities of the monitoring and evaluation teams that increased their motivation, knowledge, and skills and enhanced their ability to conduct or use evaluation. This resulted in program effectiveness for over 3 million people across Ghana, Mali and Niger. WAWI Phase I evaluation findings and lessons learned were used to redesigned WAWI Phase II initiative. WAWI project later scaled up to Ethiopia, Zambia, Malawi and Senegal.

• Developed effective M&E Systems for the African Union-Inter Bureau Animal Resources (AI-IBAR) that led to reduction in animal diseases, increased animal production and export to European markets.

• Developed effective M&E System for World Vision/ West Africa Water Initiative (WAWI) projects

• Facilitated formative research to improve program implementation and outcomes.

• Built the capacities of AU-IBAR project staff in M&E.

• Developed grant proposals for funding which resulted in the award of over $40 million grants for two phase integrated rural water, sanitation, natural resource, micro-irrigation projects.

• Led the M&E and program team to implement, monitor, and evaluate on-going projects on rural water supply, micro-irrigation projects.

• Built the capacities of World Vision Ghana, Mali and Niger program and project staff in M&E and program design, implementation, and reporting

• Carried out water, sanitation and hygiene baseline surveys for World Vision for the establishment of the West Africa Water Initiative for Human Development in Ghana, Mali and Niger.

• Was part of evaluation team to carry out mid-term and end of impact evaluations of World Vision Ghana integrated rural water, sanitation and hygiene project in Northern Ghana.
