Dr. Jonathan Novoa is a Medical Doctor holder of a Master in International health committed with the development, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of humanitarian programs in different areas and contexts, and in the international health sector with academic and clinical research focus. With five –year experience working with the non-for-profit sector including complex and emergency settings, Dr. Novoa has performed with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) the Medical and Project coordination of medical programs managing many different components and diseases including Sexual and Reproductive Health, Tuberculosis, HIV, Malaria, Neglected Diseases, Primary Health Care, Malnutrition, and Emergency Preparedness and Response in Angola, South Sudan, Haiti and Colombia while being responsible of Monitoring and Evaluation and programmatic medical issues. As Consultant for WHO, he also conducted an independent evaluation of the coordinated national and international response during the cholera epidemic in Haiti. Dr. Novoa worked as M&E and Public Health expert for the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute within the Institute mandate as Local Fund Agent with the Global Fund in Latin America and Sao Tome & Principe and is currently and independent consultant working for Price Waterhouse Coopers as M&E Expert for Latin American countries. Finally, he is also President of MSF Latin America Association
