My current role involves performing risk-based financial statement and operations processes reviews, process efficiency reviews and compliance audits.My activities include, co-ordinating audits with management of entities within the group,leading, planning and executing audits, and reporting on the audit assessments and audit findings. Concluding on audits includes consulting with functional directors at head office, consulting with local country experts and negotiation with entity management to agree on key actions to address audit findings. Experience in auditing development banks and retirement funds. My previous roles have been in Ernst and Young in London performing due diligence assignments and performing industry research for clients.I trained and qualified with Deloitte in South Africa working mainly in Assurance services, leading and managing audits in Financial Institutions including Banks, Retirement Funds and Asset Managers then moved to Corporate Finance Valuations department in Deloitte and served as a Manager.
