Doctoral courses completed include Non-Profit Management, Aid to Developing Countries, Policy Analysis, Grant Proposal Writing, Education Effects on World Health, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, Research Design,Qualitative Research Methodologies and Quantitative Data Analysis.

My doctoral dissertation is on stakeholder perceptions of the Education for All program effectiveness in increasing school enrollment in India. The stakeholders under consideration are parents from disadvantaged populations, teachers, the government and non-governmental organizations. To collect data, the study uses interviews and photovoice - a participatory action research approach that employs a photographic technique in valuing the voice of disadvantaged populations.

Other educational qualifications include a Master of Education degree with specialization in advanced educational statistics and teacher education from Goa University, India and a Bachelor of Science in Physics degree also from Goa University, India.
