Professional Experience:
I have demonstrated expertise in building governance systems and creating institutional strengthening frameworks for the public sector. Her professional experience has built a unique competence toward the developing of public sector policies, designing and implementing of capacity development initiatives on policy and institutional reforms.

My work experience spans from working to strengthening legislative institutions (at national and sub-national levels) to setting up of the foundational governance and public administration systems for newly established devolved governments. I have also worked to support frameworks for consultation and cooperation between the national and sub-national governments and as well as establish mechanisms for intergovernmental dispute resolution.

Currently I am the Managing Partner at Kidenda, Onyango, Anami (KONAN) & Associates where she is spearheading the setting up the consulting service line of the business, together with overall management of day-to-day operations of the firm.

ACHIEVEMENTS
? Developed, Designed and Implemented a framework for transition to a devolved system of governance, operationalized through the National Capacity Building Framework that is currently being implemented by the Ministry of Devolution and ASAL to develop the capacity of county government officials. The Interagency Working Committee team had representation from the national government, Transition Authority, Kenya School of Government, Centre for Parliamentary Studies and Training, Vision 2030 Secretariat, the World Bank and other Development Partners.
? Led a Team that Designed and Implemented an intensive induction Programme for the Foundational 47 County Assemblies in Kenya
? Involved in the design and eventual roll out of the Devolution Conference hosted by the Council of Governors. This is now an annual event that brings together stakeholders in Devolution
? Designed and coordinated implementation on inter/intragovernmental relations building initiatives for the benefit of the benefit of the Council of Governors, Senate, Commissions, County Assemblies Forum and the national government institutions/ between counties on cross cutting issues
• Design of Programs for various capacity building incentives responsive to the needs of various partners - Fiscal Decentralization, Legislative development, Oversight and Representation for Members of the County Assembly, Public Expenditure Management, Performance Management, Leveraging ICT for Revenue Management
• Development of Policy on the Establishment of County Economic Regional Blocs
• Development of Policy and Legislative Framework for the institutionalization of the Lake Region Economic Bloc and the Jumuiya ya Kaunti za Pwani
• Involved in the Design and Coordination of the development of the Draft Intergovernmental Relations (Alternative Dispute Resolution )Regulations and related Intergovernmental Structure
• Design and Coordination of development of the Devolution and Fiscal Decentralization Course at the Kenya School of Government
• Design and Coordination of development of Ethics, Values and Integrity Curriculum and Related manuals for Public Servants using Adult Learning Methodology in the delivery of the content
• Member Multi-Agency Planning Committee that planned for Induction of the 2nd Generation on County Governments including development of training materials/content; Designing of the various programs for induction for different cadres of staff - Governors, County Executive Committee Members, Chief Officers, Directors, Administrators and County Secretaries currently being implemented at the Kenya School of Government.
