Professional Experience: |

After graduation I worked on our family farm in Cambridgeshire for 20 years. The farm was contracted out to a neighbour in 2004. Since then I worked at the College of West Anglia as head of the Agriculture and Countryside Management department until 2010. In 2010 I was appointed as Agricultural Development manager for British Sugar in China. I worked in China for 3 years and spent 2013 in Russia working for Black Earth Farming. In all these roles I have been involved both in the strategic aspects at board level and implementation of the business plans on the ground. I enjoy the challenges presented when working in unfamiliar surroundings and I am very target driven to achieve the given objectives. More details can be seen in the attached CV.

I have a 2.1 BSC Hons degree in Agriculture from Nottingham University. I have FE training and assessment qualifications in use of farm equipment and advisory quals. in chemical and fertiliser use.
