Professional Experience:
Marc Languy is a senior biologist/conservationist with 33 years of professional experience in Europe and mostly Africa. He has extensive experience in formal and informal education including environmental education and has led several field projects and coordinated different programs of large conservation organizations. He has a specific knowledge of biogeography and biodiversity assessment in tropical Africa and has worked on several field projects working on Protected Areas and buffer zones management. He is skilled in programme planning and development, in implementation of field projects from proposal development to recruitment and supervision of junior and senior staff. He also has field experience in human - wildlife conflicts and in biological surveys.

Bachelor of Science, Animal Ecology, Université Catholique de Louvain (1980-1985)
